Effective date: September 28, 2026

Shorts Publisher is a private publishing tool operated by PK Creative Consulting, Inc. DBA Sign Shop Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”). It connects a Google Drive folder selected by the user to a YouTube channel authorized by that user so videos can be uploaded on a schedule.

Google user data we access

With the user’s authorization, Shorts Publisher may access:

  • the files and folders in the Google Drive folder the user selects and shares with the tool;
  • basic information identifying the authorized YouTube channel;
  • permission to upload videos to that YouTube channel; and
  • limited YouTube channel and upload information needed to detect and prevent duplicate uploads.

Shorts Publisher does not request access to Gmail, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, payment information, passwords, or unrelated Drive folders.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide the features requested by the user: find an eligible video in the selected Drive folder, upload it to the authorized YouTube channel, prevent duplicate uploads, record the result, and move the source file into a Posted subfolder after a successful upload.

Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or training generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. We do not sell Google user data.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and security

OAuth authorization credentials are stored in Google Secret Manager. Operational records, such as Drive file identifiers, upload status, YouTube video identifiers, and schedule settings, are stored in Google Firestore. Video files are downloaded only to temporary Cloud Run storage while an upload is in progress and are deleted automatically when that operation ends.

The service is private and requires authenticated access. Access is restricted to the minimum Google Cloud service accounts and permissions needed to operate the tool.

Sharing and disclosure

We transmit data to Google Drive, YouTube, and Google Cloud only as needed to operate Shorts Publisher. We do not share Google user data with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.

Retention and deletion

OAuth credentials are retained until the user revokes access, requests deletion, or the authorization is replaced. Operational upload records are retained to prevent duplicate uploads and support troubleshooting.

Users may revoke Shorts Publisher’s access at any time from their Google Account connections page. To request deletion of OAuth credentials and associated operational records, contact developer@choppamedia.com with the subject “Shorts Publisher data deletion.” We will verify the request and delete the associated credentials and operational records within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Revoking access prevents future API access but does not automatically delete videos that were already uploaded to YouTube or files already moved within Google Drive. Those items remain under the user’s control in their Google account.

Children’s privacy

Shorts Publisher is a business operations tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this tool.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the tool, Google requirements, or applicable law. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
